Who Are We?
Our Mission
Midnimo Institute was established with a strong purpose to provide high-quality vocational education for the youth of Galdogob and its surroundings. Recognizing the critical need for health professionals, our institution is dedicated to bridging the gap between education and labor market needs.
Our main goal is to empower youth, especially those who have not had the opportunity to complete formal education, by providing them with the essential skills and knowledge to make a significant contribution to society. Through our tailored educational programs, we aim to create a generation of highly capable and compassionate health professionals who are not only skilled but also deeply committed to improving public health and well-being.

Our History
Midnimo Institute was established in 2017 and has quickly become the leading institution for health and science education in Mudug. The institute was founded following a comprehensive study that revealed a shortage of trained health professionals in the region, which affected the quality and accessibility of healthcare.
To address this gap, Midnimo Institute offers vocational training that provides students with the hands-on experience necessary to succeed in the healthcare industry. Today, our graduates work in various health facilities in the Galdogob region, providing essential services to an estimated population of 208,000. Their contribution has had a significant impact on the local health system, improving health outcomes and addressing key regional challenges. The success of our graduates demonstrates the vital role Midnimo Institute plays in developing a skilled workforce to meet the health needs of Mudug and beyond.
Our Commitment to Women's Education
At Midnimo Institute, we deeply believe in the power of educational choice, especially in the lives of women. We prioritize women's education, making it our main objective, and as a result, the majority of our students are women.
Recognizing the economic challenges faced by many in our community, we also provide scholarships to students from low-income families to ensure that no one is left behind in their education. Through these efforts, our goal is to empower women and create opportunities for them to succeed and meaningfully contribute to their communities.
